RIT’s wrestling team hosted the 37th Annual RIT Wrestling Tournament on Saturday. The Tigers finished 11th of 15 teams with 42 points.
The Tigers were led by Pat North, who took first place at the 165-pound weight class by defeating third seeded Dan Kull in the finals by a score of 8-2. North also defeated SUNY Cortland’s Brian Hanselman 11-3 and Baldwin Wallace’s Joe Heiland 8-0 in earlier rounds of the tournament.
North is currently undefeated this season with 9 victorious bouts, all coming in convincing fashion.
The Tigers resume action on Tuesday, Dec. 10 when they host SUNY Cortland at Clark Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
