The RIT Women’s Hockey team faced Buffalo State once and New England College twice in last week’s play. In these three matches, the Tigers were victorious by scores of 5-1, 9-1 and 3-0, respectively.

Junior defenseman Jen Gorczynski (Rochester, N.Y./Greece-Arcadia) had five goals and three assists over the three games last week. Gorczynski is currently tied for being the nineth most scoring women’s hockey athlete in RIT history. She currently has 11 points after less than 20% of the season has passed.

Gorczynski recorded one goal and one assist in Wednesday’s victory over Buffalo State; two goals and one assist in Friday’s victory over New England College; and two goals and one assist in the 3-0 shutout against New England College.

The Tigers have a bye week due to final exams and will resume action when they travel to Buffalo State on Nov. 21 for a 7 p.m. game.
