Co-Male Athlete of the Week Marty Maynard, baseball

Senior co-captain Marty Maynard had an excellent week hitting over .500 in a 3-2 week. For the Tigers only conference match-up of the week Maynard responded for the Tigers by hitting a 2 run homerun in the bottom of the 4th to tie to score at 7. Unfortunately the Cardinals would score 1 run in the 5th inning, which RIT was unable to recover from.

For the Tigers double-header against Cazenovia Maynard again led the offense going 3-3 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. To close out the week he amassed 25 putouts for a perfect fielding percentage.

The Tigers are now 13-9 overall and will conclude their home season on Wednesday, April 30 when they host RPI at 2 p.m.
