ROCHESTER, N.Y.- The Rochester Institute of Technology named Molly Urquhart, a senior member of the Women's track and and field team athlete of the week for the week ending April 21.

The women's track and field team had traveled to the Merrick-Pinkard Track and Field Complex on Friday night for the 2003 St. Lawrence University Spring Twilight Meet. Urquhart who qualified earlier this week for the NCAA's, broke her own RIT record placing her first with a jump of 5.73 meters. This performance places her third on the 2003 Outdoor Track National Performance List.

Urquhart also placed second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.81 seconds.

The Tigers return to the Rochester area on Tuesday, with a meet at Roberts Wesleyan College.
