Co-Female Athlete of the Week Shari McNamara, Softball

The 2002 Empire 8 player of the Year has picked up right where she left off last season posting a 6-1 record with a 0.26 ERA and 49 strikeouts. Her only loss came off her second appearance this season against Capital (L, 0-2). McNamara went 3-0 this week with a .41 earned run average which is above her season total as she has allowed just two earned runs all year against Beloit College and Alfred. McNamara totaled 13 strikeouts in 17 innings in the Tigers 3-0 week.

The Tigers are 12-2-2 and will return to action on Friday, April 18 when they host Utica College at 4 p.m.
