The RIT Women’s Basketball team played in the JPMorgan Chase Scholarship Basketball Tournament this week. The Tigers played a competitive tournament, giving opponents a “run for their money,” but finished eighth. Freshman guard, Christina Ermie (Johnstown, N.Y./Johnstown) was the Tigers’ leading scorer in the tournament with 36 points, averaging 12.0 per game.

Ermie is the second leading scorer for the Tigers this season with 129 points, 38 rebounds, and 35 assists.

The Tigers travel to face Empire 8 opponents Ithaca and Elmira on Jan. 24 and 25, respectively. The Tigers are currently tied with Nazareth for third place in the Empire 8.
