The RIT Men’s Hockey Team was 2-0 this week, with wins against SUNYAC opponents Fredonia and Plattsburgh, both nationally ranked by USCHO.com. Senior Tyler Euverman (Surrey, B.C./Prince George) recorded his 12th career shutout in the 4-0 victory against Fredonia.

This 12th shutout of Euverman’s career at RIT ties a RIT school record for career shutouts. Euverman, the 2001-2002 recipient of the Green B. Williams Hockey Award for Academic Excellence is currently tied with Dave Burkholder (1984) for career shutouts. This season, Euverman currently allows 2.48 goals per game and is 10-1-1.

The Tigers play Cortland on Tuesday and have a home/away series against Oswego this week with a home game on Friday night and travel to Oswego for Saturday’s game. All games this week are at 7 p.m.
