Key to the Tiger’s championship was sophomore Sean Murphy. Murphy averaged 18 points and shot 47 percent from the arch, hitting 7-15. Murphy was named the tournament Most Valuable Player and received accolades from the Empire Eight, who named Murphy Player of the Week.

The Tigers return to action in the new year on Jan. 3 at the Penn St. Behrend Tournament in Erie, Pa.
