The women's soccer team has had their best start in recent years with a record of six and one. Additionlly, the Tigers' five-game winning streak which started on September 7 in the victory over Keuka is the longest winning streak in a number of years.

In the Tigers' two victories in the past week, Carrie Yehle, goalkeeper has provided the Tigers with one shutout, 17 saves in the course of two games, and only allowed one ball to reach the back of the net in the 2-1 win against Clarkson.

"Carrie's tireless work has earned the respect of her teammates and coaches. She came up big in both games [this week], preserving the wins and propelling us to a fantastic 6-1-0 start. Carrie is always working to improve and has allowed us to play with confidence," noted Tigers coach, Tom Natalie.

The Tigers return to the field on Tuesday, when they travel just down the Genesee river to play rival University of Rochester at 4:00.
