The RIT men’s cross country team opened its season with a fourth-place performance among 12 teams at the Daniel Walker Invitational at Beaver Island Park outside of Buffalo. Jesse Williamson put forth a strong effort this weekend placing 11th in his first intercollegiate cross country race.

"I was very pleased with Jesse’s finish today, but even more pleased with the way he steadily moved up through the pack for the entire race," noted Tigers Coach Dave Warth.

The Tigers will return to action next weekend when they travel to Fredonia.
