Tanimoto recorded a 4-0 record to help RIT to a 1-1 record. He and sophomore Alexander Sinclair beat Ethan Samora and Tony Xu 6-2 at first doubles and beat Kavin Shukla 6-4, 6-1 at first singles in the Tigers 5-2 loss at Rochester, Saturday. Sunday, Tanimoto and Sinclair beat Chris Chippari and William Schmid 7-5 at first doubles and defeated Chippari 6-0, 6-1 at first singles in the Tigers 7-0 win over Oneonta.
