Tanimoto recorded a 3-1 record in singles and a 3-1 record in doubles competition last week. Wednesday, Tanimoto beat Daemen's Alex Lumanog at No. 1 singles and teamed up with Alexander Sinclair for a beat Lumanog and Lasse Mergens, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles to help lead RIT to a 7-0 win. Tanimoto went 2-1 in singles, losing to Mustafa Ege Topbass in the round of 16 at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships. He and Sinclair went 2-1, advancing to the quarterfinals at ITA's.
