Merkley went 5-for-9 with four runs scored and four RBI in RIT's split at Nazareth, Thursday. The sophomore infielder went 2-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI in RIT's 14-10 win in game one. Merkley went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and RBI in a 9-8 loss in game two.
