Glynn finished second at 149-lb. at the NCAA Mideast Regional last weekend to qualify for the NCAA Championships for the first time in his career. Glynn, the No. 3 seed, defeated Mahmoud Esa with a fall at 2:48 in his opening bout, Friday. He beat Shane Strausser with an 11-0 major decision in the second round and took down Dominick Vinci with a 19-3 technical fall in the quarterfinals. Saturday, Glynn defeated No. 2 Matthew Beyer with an 11-10 overtime win. Glynn took down Beyer in the closing seconds of the third period to tie the match and was awarded the winning point in overtime.
