KhaVy Sangasy was named Liberty League Rookie of the Year at the 2020 Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championship hosted by Ithaca College. Sangasy won two individual titles at the Liberty League Championship, taking home the title in the 200-yd. IM (2:06.45). She also won the title in the 200-yd. breaststroke, winning in a school record and NCAA "B" qualifying time of 2:18.56. Sangasy was eighth in the 200-yd. butterfly. Sangasy was a part of four relay teams. She helped the 200-yd. freestyle relay team to a win, finishing in a school record time of 1:35.97. She helped the 200-yd. medley relay (1:46.44) and the 400-yd. medley relay (3:53.44) to second place finishes.
