Simone helped the RIT men's soccer team to a 2-0-0 record in two Liberty League contests last weekend. The sophomore midfielder/forward tallied five points on two goals and an assist. Friday, Simone scored in the second minute, weaving in and out of defenders to give RIT an early lead in a 2-1 win versus Rensselaer. He scored in the 24th minute and had the assist on Simon Garno's overtime winner in the 109th minute to give RIT a 2-1 win versus Skidmore College Saturday. Simone leads the team in scoring with 18 points on five goals and eight assists.
