Mooney earned All-Region honors, placing 34th at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships at Field of Dreams Park at Houghton on Saturday. He crossed the finish line in a personal-best time of 25:34.8, surpassing his previous record by 18 seconds. Mooney helped RIT finish third out of 42 teams at the Atlantic Region Championships and secure its first berth in the NCAA Championships since 2009.
