Schwan was part of RIT's 4 x 400-meter relay team that won the state title, finishing 29 one-hundredths of a second ahead of Liberty League foe Rensselaer with a time of 4:01.66. In addition, she was part of the 4 x 800-meter relay squad that placed third, crossing the finish line in a time of 9:34.40.
