Gorman hit .625 (10-for-16) and had a .739 on-base percentage and 1.125 slugging percentage (1.864 OPS) with eight runs scored, two homers, and seven RBIs in a 5-0 week for the Tigers. On Tuesday, Gorman went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, was hit by pitch, and scored two runs in a 12-3 win at Keuka. Saturday, Gorman went 1-for-2 with two walks and scored a run in a 2-1 game one win over Skidmore. In game two, he tied the RIT career record for home runs, hitting a three-run shot in the sixth inning that gave RIT a 5-3 lead. He also walked four times and scored three runs as RIT won, 8-5. On Sunday, Gorman hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the first inning that gave him 23 round trippers for his career, breaking a 37-year old record held by RIT Athletics Hall of Famer Jeff Hall ’80. In the third inning, he singled in a run, breaking Hall’s record with his 139th career RBI as RIT rolled to a 10-0 win. In game two, Gorman had three singles and scored twice in an 11-1 win. Gorman is now hitting .379 this season with six homers and 27 RBIs, while slugging .684.
