Zbranak was incredible for the Tigers at the 2017 UNYSCSA Championship, becoming RIT's first swimmer to win an individual event since 2010, while recording a pair of runner-up finishes, and setting seven school records along the way. She won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:51.62 and was runner-up in the 100-yard backstroke (56.97) and 200-backstroke (2:03.35). All three were NCAA "B" cut qualifying times. She was part of four record setting relay teams, including the 200-yard medley relay (1:45.76), 400-yard medley relay (3:54.78), 400-yard freestyle relay (3:34.11) and 800-yard free relay (7:48.16).
