Paine won three freestyle races and one relay event for RIT in its win over Fredonia Saturday. Paine opened the day by winning the 200-yard freestyle by 79 one-hundredths of a second. Paine led a 1-2-3 finish in the 50-free in a time of 22.97 seconds. Paine then won the 100-free by just under a second in a time of 49.92 seconds.

With the meet still in doubt, Paine and his 200-yard freestyle relay team clinched the win, taking the final event by just under two seconds in a time of 1:29.31.
