Jones broke her own school record for the 6,000-meter distance by nearly five seconds, finishing the race in a blazing time of 21:39.8 at the was the individual winner in helping lead the RIT women's cross country team to a fourth place finish out of 22 teams at the Mike Woods Invitational hosted by No. 1 SUNY Geneseo at Letchworth State Park on Saturday. She was the top-finisher out of 288 runners, defeating second place Sara Rosenzweig of Geneseo by nearly 11 seconds.
