Shipley helped RIT to a 1-1-0 record at the Potsdam College Cup over the weekend. He played all 180 minutes, and had the assist on Scott Geyer's goal in the title game versus SUNY Potsdam on Sunday. On Saturday he helped lead a defense that held King's College to seven shots overall and only two on net in a 1-0 win. Sunday, Shipley was credited with the assist in the 60th minute that tied the score at 1-1 versus host SUNY Potsdam. He has played every minute of all four games this season, helping the Tigers defense hold opponents to 0.75 goals per game.
