Szybist became RIT's all-time school record holder in kills with 1,998, snapping the previous mark of 1,973 held by RIT Athletes Hall of Famer Tracy Wilt, who played from 1995-98. She slammed 121 kills (5.39/set) and hit .298 with 6.57 points/set and 76 digs (3.62/set) in a 3-2 week and was named to the Marcia French All-Tournament Team. Szybist had two matches with at least 30 kills, including 37, the second most in a match in her career in a five-set win over Mount Union Saturday. Szybist also tallied a career-high 32 digs to go along with 31 kills in a five-set win over Denison on Friday. She is the first Tiger to record a 30-30 match in two decades. Szybist is two kills shy of 2,000 for her career. Szybist is among the national leaders with 5.39 kills and 6.37 points per set in nine matches this season.
