Jones, an All-Atlantic Region finisher a year ago, got off to a tremendous start in 2016, winning the St. John Fisher College Early Season Invitational on Friday evening. She covered the 4,000-meter race in a strong time of 15:09, winning by 21 seconds. It is her second career individual victory, as she also won the season-opening Oswego State Invitational in 2014. RIT rolled to resounding team win with 36 points.
