Valentine went 3-1 with a 1.25 earned run average, 1.14 WHIP, four complete games, a shutout, and 27 strikeouts in 28 innings. On Wednesday, she allowed just an unearned run on four hits while striking out six in a 4-1 win over Alfred. She fired a complete-game eight hitter with seven strikeouts in a 4-3 win over Clarkson in game one on Saturday and followed that up with perhaps the best outing of her collegiate career on Sunday against Skidmore. Valentine was masterful, allowing just two hits, while striking out nine batters on just 73 pitches in a complete game 1-0 win. She is now 7-4 this season with a 3.08 ERA and 85 strikeouts in 75 innings.
