Lynch was named MVP of the Tyler Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Smith College over the weekend. The freshman forward averaged 19.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in her first two collegiate games. Saturday, Lynch tallied 20 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor in a 71-50 win over MCLA. She also grabbed eight rebounds and had an assist and a steal. Sunday, Lynch tallied 18 points, going 10-of-10 from the foul line in a 79-68 win over host Smith College in the title game. She grabbed six rebounds and was 4-of-8 from the floor.
