Sofia emerged victorious in the hammer throw with a toss of 49.47 meters, winning by more than three meters at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by St. John Fisher College at the Gene Polisseni Track and Field Complex on Saturday. Sofia's throw is currently the 30th best in Division III this season and a career best.
