Weinger was RIT's top finisher, placing second at 285 lbs. at the John Summa Invitational hosted by Baldwin Wallace on Saturday. He picked up a 9-3 decision over Guy DiCicco of Defiance in his opening bout, and picked up a pinfall win over Hunter Six of Waynesburg at 2:29 in his second match. In the quarterfinals, Weinger moved on after Gunnar Parr of Ohio Northern was disqualified, and moved into the finals after Cole Tristram of SUNY Brockport could not go due to an injury. In the finals, Weinger fell to Greg Kumer of Waynesburg 9-5. Weinger improves to 22-16 on the season.
