Baldwin enjoyed an incredible week for the Tigers at the UNYSCSA Championships, setting two individual records, and was part of four relay teams that smashed school records. On Wednesday, Baldwin, a senior, broke her own school record in the championship of the 50-yard freestyle, finishing second in the final with a time of 24.03 seconds. She held the previous record of 24.06 seconds, set last season. Baldwin just missed claiming her first state title, as Lake Duffy of Ithaca won by just seven one-hundredths of a second in 23.96 seconds. The two swimmers also had the two fastest times in the preliminaries as well. Baldwin broke a seven-year old school record in the 100-yard freestyle on Saturday, finishing fourth in the finals with a time of 52.92 seconds. She had the second fastest time in the prelims in 52.93 seconds. The time broke the previous record of 53.26 seconds held by Kristen Curtze in 2007. Baldwin was also part of the record setting 200-free relay (1:39.53), 400-free relay (3:36.17), 200-medley relay (1:51.35) and 400-medley relay (4:05.16) teams.
