Hayes was part of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay team that won in 3:23.85 against Geneseo and New Paltz over the weekend. He was also third in the 800-yard freestyle relay, finishing in a time of 7:32.35. Hayes was also fifth in the 500-yard fteestyle and sixth in both the 200-yard and 1,650-yard freestyle events.
