Tennant became the sixth player in the history of RIT women's basketball to surpass the 1,000-point mark, doing so on Saturday at Hamilton. Tennant averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds per game and shot 80 percent from the foul line, as RIT went 1-1 in its first two games of 2014. On Friday, Tennant was 12-of-15 from the foul line, scoring 18 points and pulling down 14 boards to go along with two blocks in a 71-52 win over Union. On Saturday, Tennant recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 boards in a loss to Hamilton. She scored her 1,000th point on a free throw with 3:47 to play in the second half. Tennant leads the Tigers with 15.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks per game this season.
