Mayville won the title in the 149 pound weight class, and was the Tony Wallace Award winner, given to the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Meet at the RIT Invitational on Saturday. Mayville, who is now 18-3 this season, opened the meet with a win over Taylor Bryant of John Carroll by pin in 1:02. He then pinned Roja Stephenson of Washington and Jefferson in 2:41 and advanced to the semifinals with an 8-0 win over Joey Schmidt of Baldwin Wallace. He won his semifinal match over Mike Perruccio of WPI, 2-0. In the championship, Mayville defeated Dan Mirman of John Carroll, 6-4 in overtime.
