Giannino continued his excellent start to the 2013 season, finishing 15th overall out of 372 runners at the 40th annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday, completing the 8,000-meter course in a speedy time of 25:47. He ran the opening mile in 4:58 and had a 5:12 pace throughout. Giannino was the fourth fastest non-Division I finisher.
