Kurvach won two events and was third in another to earn Liberty League Track Athlete of the Meet honors at the 2013 Liberty League Outdoor Championship. Kurvach began his day with a win in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in an ECAC Championship qualifying time of 9:25.07. He placed third in the 1,500-meters in a time of 4:05.83, and wrapped up his day with a win in the 5,000 meters in a time of 15:26.31.
