Racing primarily against Division I runners, Kurvach placed ninth out of 41 runners in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Bison Outdoor Classic, finishing in a tremendous time of 9:15.76, one of the fastest in RIT track and field history. That time is currently the ninth fastest in all of Division III this season.
