Vakiener helped RIT to a 3-0 record last week, while surpassing the 200 career goal plateau, and the 300 career point plateau, tallying 26 points on 14 goals and 12 assists. On Monday, Vakiener tallied eight points on three goals and five assists in a 16-5 win over SUNY Oswego. She also had four ground balls, two caused turnovers and one draw control. On Friday, she scored 10 points on five goals and five assists in a 20-8 win over Western New England. Vakiener had three ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers in the win. Vakiener wrapped up the week with eight points on six goals and two assists in a 15-10 win over Endicott. She also grabbed nine ground balls, had three draw controls and caused three turnovers. She leads the team in scoring with 44 points on 26 goals and 18 assists. Vakiener now has 301 career points on 206 goals and 95 assists. She is the all-time leader at RIT in all three offensive categories.
