Mayville went 4-0 for the Tigers at 149 lbs., winning three matches via pinfall at the Budd Whitehill Duals, hosted by Lycoming College. On Friday, Mayville opened with a pin over Shane Sweeney of nationally-ranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point at 6:50, then pinned Shawn King of Thiel in 2:00. On Saturday, Mayville defeated Zack McCarthy of Case Western 6-0, then earned win over Garland McCormick of Muskingum via pinfall at 4:51. He is now 18-6 this season with eight pins. In dual matches, Mayville is 7-1.
