Martinez scored one goal on the week, but it proved to be the game winner as RIT defeated No. 4 Ithaca 1-0 on Saturday. It was the first win over Ithaca for RIT since 1995, was the Bombers first loss of the season. She tallied a goal off a free kick in the 39th minute, heading the ball into the net inside the Ithaca penalty area. Martinez also helped to keep Ithaca scoreless, and allow one goal in two games on the week. The Tigers are riding a six-game unbeaten streak (5-0-1) and are 11-5-1 in 2012.
