ROCHESTER, NY – Nine members of the RIT women's crew team were named 2017 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar-Athletes on Thursday, June 1.
For a student-athlete to be recognized as a CRCA Scholar-Athlete, they must be in their second, third, or fourth year of eligibility, have rowed in her institution's NCAA eligible boat for a minimum of 75 percent of the spring season, and maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 through the fall semester for the current year of competition.
Below is the full list of RIT women's crew student-athletes who earned CRCA Scholar-Athlete honors. The Tigers won their first Liberty League Championship and finished fifth at the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships.
