Adams and Dempsey to compete at 2010 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend

ROCHESTER, NY - Sophomores Jennifer Adams (Batavia, NY/Batavia) of the RIT women's track and field team and Michael Dempsey (Rochester, NY/Gates-Chili) of the men's squad will compete in the 2010 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. on Friday and Saturday.

Jake Coon earns first head coaching win, as RIT men's lacrosse beats Scranton

SCRANTON, PA -- The RIT (1-2) men's lacrosse team picked up their first win of the season on Wednesday, defeating the University of Scranton (2-1) 12-8. The Tigers exploded for five goals in the second period to erase a 2-1 first-period deficit and scored five consecutive goals to break away from a 6-6 tie in the third period.

ROCHESTER, NY - RIT senior goaltender Jared DeMichiel (Avon, CT) is the lone Tiger and one of three netminders eligible to compete for the Eastern team at the 2010 NCAA Frozen Four Skills Challenge in April.  Voting for the NCAA Frozen Four Skills Challenge begins on Monday, February 1, and will run until Noon on Monday, February 15. Katie Stack to be honored at Rochester Press Radio Club 61st Annual Day of Champions dinner

ROCHESTER, NY - Junior forward Katie Stack (Batavia, NY/Rochester Edge), of the RIT women's hockey team, will be honored as the 2009 PAYCHEX Female College Athlete of the Year at the Rochester Press Radio Club's 61st Annual Day of Champions Children's Charity Dinner on Wednesday, May 12 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. She is the second RIT Female Athlete to be honored by the Press Radio Club.
