Favot earned All-AHA second team honors, and was a two-time AHA Player of the Week.
As a sophomore in 2008-09, Favot broke out offensively, tallying 31 points (10-21-31) in 33 games. He tied a RIT Division I team record with an 11-game point-scoring streak from Dec. 6 to Jan. 25. He also recorded a team record 10-game assist streak from Dec. 6 to Jan. 25.
