ROCHESTER, NY - Junior forward #Katie Stack (Batavia, NY/Rochester Edge)# of the RIT women's hockey team was named the ECAC West Player of the Week on Monday for the week ending Jan. 31, 2010.  It is Stack's second ECAC West weekly honor this season, and third of her career.

Stack scored four goals in a weekend sweep of Utica. On Saturday, Stack recorded her fourth hat-trick of the season, scoring RIT's third, fourth and fifth goals in a 5-3 win over Utica to celebrate "Make the Rink Pink". She tallied the go-ahead and game-winning goal with 11:22 left in regulation. On Sunday, Stack scored a power-play goal to lift RIT to a 4-0 win. Stack now is tied for national lead with 22 goals. Her 10 power-play goals lead the nation. Stack now has 15 goals in 12 ECAC West contests.

The Tigers (12-4-3, 7-3-2 ECAC West), ranked fourth in Division III, return to action on Saturday and Sunday, as they travel to face Chatham College.
