ROCHESTER, NY – Three members of the RIT men's track and field squad earned All-Atlantic Region honors, as the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the All-Region honorees for the 2017 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season on March 6.

Senior Austin White (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) and sophomores Otto Kingstedt () and Ethan Maguire (Penfield, NY/Penfield) garnered 2016-17 All-Region honors for the indoor season.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event in the region according to final Track & Field Results Reporting System data or be part of a top-3 relay team.

White cleared 4.70 meters in the pole vault at the Brockport Golden Eagle Multi and Invitational meet on Jan. 28, fifth highest among all Atlantic Region competitors. He was the 2017 Liberty League Indoor Champion in the event.

Kingstedt recorded a tremendous time of 14:45.78 in the 5,000-meters at the NYSCTC Championship on Feb. 25, third best in the Atlantic Region and 21st in all of Division III. On Feb. 11, Kingstedt was third in the 5,000-meters and was fourth in the 3,000-meters at the Liberty League Championship, hosted by RIT.

Maguire had the second best pole vault among all Atlantic Region competitors and was tied for 14th nationally with a top vault of 4.90 meters taken at the Deneault Memorial at Cornell University on Feb. 18. He also earned runner-up honors at the NYSCTC Championship and competed at the 2015 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship.
