ROCHESTER, NY –
Juniors Rebecca Moore (San Diego, CA/Rancho Bernardo), Cat Sullivan (Lehman, PA/Lake-Lehman), and Christina Worth (Valencia, CA/Valencia) were named to the Liberty League All-Conference team, as the league announced its 2011 award winners on Thursday.  Moore was a second team selection, while Sullivan and Worth were honorable mention selections.

Moore, who was a two-time All-Empire 8 honorable mention in 2009 and 2010, became the 13th Tiger to record 1,000 career kills on Oct. 14 against Vassar.  She led the squad and was second in the conference with 461 kills in 2011.  Moore tallied at least 20 kills five times and recorded at least 10 kills in 25 matches this season.  She earned Liberty League Player of the Week honors on Sept. 12 and was named to the RIT Invitational and New York State Regional Challenge All-Tournament Teams.

Sullivan, a middle hitter, enjoyed a tremendous finish to the season, hitting .333 to lead the Liberty League in that category.  She hit at least .400 with 11 or more kills in four straight matches in late October, en route to finishing the year with 182 kills.  She also led the squad with 99 blocks in 2011.

Worth, a setter, dished out 1,145 assists (8.48 per game) for the Tigers in 2011, to go along with a team-best 62 service aces, and 324 digs, second most on the squad.  She also chipped in with 100 kills, while hitting .255, and recorded 78 blocks.  Worth dished out a season-best 45 assists in a contest three times and finishes the year with 3,390 in her career, fifth most all-time at RIT.  Worth was named to the North Country Classic All-Tournament Team.  She was also a 2010 Empire 8 Honorable Mention selection.

RIT finished the 2011 season with a 17-22 record.
