A native of Ste. Therese, Quebec Canada, Simon Lambert helped the RIT men’s hockey program become a national power at the Division I level. Lambert appeared in 125 games with 63 goals and 89 assists for 152 points. Against Division I opponents, he set school marks for most goals (55) and points (132) in a career. His 51 points in 2007-08 also set the school record. In 2007-08, Lambert became RIT’s first top-10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, which is presented annually to the most outstanding Division I hockey player. He was also named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team in 2004-05 and was a second team Atlantic Hockey Association selection in 2006-07. A civil engineering technology major, Lambert was consistently named to the Dean’s List and graduated with honors.
