Rochester Institute of Technology Athletics

Sherman B. Hagberg served as Director of Athletics for 28 years before retiring in 1958. He joined the Institute in 1919 as a mechanics teacher, and was appointed director in 1931. Hagberg was responsible for the organization of football, baseball and cross-country teams at RIT.
