Former men’s hockey standout Scott Brown, who finished his Tiger career second in points (now third) with 225, led his teams to an 87-41-3 record during his four seasons in a RIT uniform. Brown, a native of Guelph, ON, was named a First Team NCAA All-American during the 1988-89 season. He scored 74 points that season and led the Tigers to the NCAA Championship game. While at RIT, Brown was named the ECAC Rookie of the Year in 1985-86 and earned First Team ECAC honors twice. The Tigers also made the NCAA Tournament during the 1985-86 season. He holds the all-time RIT record by scoring at least a point in 29 consecutive games. The Tigers were two-time ECAC Champions, in 1985-86 and 1988-89. Brown graduated with a degree in business administration in 1990.
