Wrestling at 165 pounds, Pat North earned two All-American honors. In 2003, he placed second, while in 2002 he was fourth. The native of Schenectady, N.Y., grappled from 1999-2003 and was named Senior Male Athlete of the Year in 2003. North also captured two NCAA Qualifier Championships in 2001-02 and 2002-03. He was a two-time RIT Invitational Champion, competing against schools from divisions I, II and III. In 2002-03, North compiled a 29-3 dual match record (.906 winning percentage). He was equally impressive in the classroom, earning National Wrestling Coaches Association Academic All-American honors three times. North graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science and went on to earn his master's degree in imaging science.
