Mark Kleinke, a native of Slingerlands, N.Y., earned a bachelor’s degree in packaging management in 1980. On the baseball field, few could equal Kleinke’s prowess. He helped lead his teams to 91 wins in his four seasons, along with a 1977 ECAC championship. Kleinke earned all-EAA honors in 1980 after batting .397. He finished his career with a .358 batting average and holds RIT’s all-time record with 21 triples. He had 49 hits in 1980, which was second all-time in one season in RIT history when he graduated. Kleinke came back to RIT and earned his MBA in 1984.
